Dinner Menu - April 18, 2012
One of the harder restaurants for me to find even with its close proximity to the station. Some Tokyo subway stations have a vast number of exits,so if you get the wrong one there may be a long way before getting back on track. I strongly suggest signing up for an international data package with your cellular carrier because hand held GPS is a god sent in Tokyo. It doesn't cost anywhere near what you might think and is worth every penny if time is something you value. After eventually finding my way to the restaurant, a few steps up from the sidewalk, lead me to a door that read 'Ryugin.' What I did not know at that time was that through that door, I would have one of the best meals of my life. I was greeted by the Maitre'd and lead to my table. I was soon greeted by the sommelier who would be my primary server for the meal. I suspected this mainly because of her advanced English ability. |
